2015 In 2015 the WANTZ Committee proudly supported Motor Neurone Disease Association of Qld. A massive thank you to all the sponsor, donors and guests, without whose huge support our fundraising efforts would not have been successful. Motor Neurone Disease Association of QLD Inc. has been providing for families living with MND in QLD, specifically support, equipment loan and information, for over 30 years. MND is a disease that has no cause or cure. The nerve cells controlling the muscles that enable a person to move, speak, swallow and breathe fail to work normally. Eventually the muscles weaken and waste. It is imperative that suitable equipment be provided to those with MND to assist in day to day living.
