Dr. ANNE SPOONER

Assoc Prof Anne Spooner is a general practitioner and graduate of the University of Queensland. She is an inaugural member of the WANTZ Committee, representing the letter "A" in the acronym "WANTZ".

She is a long time philanthropist who has also been involved in both medical practice and medical education for many years.

Anne has been involved in multiple charitable works that includes Noah's Arc, the Foundation Board of St Aidans School, the WANTZ Committee and was Qld Chair of the Australian Women of the Year Association in 2008. She has 3 daughters and is strongly involved in youth and women’s advocacy and philanthropic programs.
