 2009 In 2009 the WANTZ Committee proudly supported The Spinal Injuries Association. For nearly 50 years this not-for-profit organisation has been dedicated to providing quality, contemporary and valued services and support for people with a spinal cord injury in Queensland. They were desperately in need of the following equipment: WANTZ Wish List:
THANK YOU: A very big thank you to all the wonderful Sponsors and Donors whose generosity helped with our fundraising to buy these urgently required items of equipment. In total, the WANTZ Committee was able to raise approximately $150,000 to buy the equipment on the WANTZ Wish List, none of which would have been possible without the generosity of all our sponsors and donors. ANNUAL DINNER: The culmination of the WANTZ Committee's fundraising was a spectacular dinner at Restaurant 'TWO', arguably Brisbane's best restaurant, on the night of Brisbane's Riverfire, 12 September 2009. Guests included members of Brisbane's medical, legal, banking, government and business communities. |
