2016 In 2016 the WANTZ Committee proudly supported AEIOU Foundation - for children with autism. The WANTZ Committee is very grateful for all the very generous help from supporters, sponsors and guests, with whose generosity over $159,060.00 was raised for purchase of much needed equipment by the AEIOU Foundation. AEIOU Foundation is a not-for-profit organization and one of Australia's leading providers of full-time early education and therapy support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), aged two to six years. AEIOU Foundation was founded ten years ago by Brisbane parents Dr. James Morton AM and his wife Louise after their son Andrew was diagnosed with autism at two years of age. AEIOU Foundation operates from 8 locations across Queensland, including Brisbane, Toowoomba, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Bundaberg and Townsville. Its first interstate centre was proudly established in Adelaide last year, putting AEIOU Foundation on track to achieve its plan to provide services throughout Australia to meet the need. The Foundation's unique program is based on a curriculum that has been specifically developed to meet the needs of children with ASD and their families.
